Default Shop Manual on eBay

Not mine, saw this while looking for VTX parts. Honda VTX1300CX 1300 Fury Mint OEM Shop Service Manual - eBay (item 160519851918 end time Dec-22-10 10:51:36 PST)

Is there a difference between a shop manual and a service manual and if so can some one give brief explaination....Thanks

Hey I think that here in oz the service manual has pretty basic info like capacities (oil, fuel, tyre pressures ect) and general warnings.
A shop manual (which I would love and read and pretend I understood) has the whole kit and dice. You know with the the different parts and diagrams of them pulled down with their part numbers ect.

Correct me if I'm wrong guys it's highly likely...lmao

Most use the 2 terms to mean the same thing

Sounds more like the difference between the owners manual and the shop (service) manual. But (we) North Americans talk funny.

Thumbs up Service manual

I'm the one who bought this manual on ebay. The Service Manual has around 526 pages in it and covers just about everything. It has detailed information (with pics) to do most repairs and maintence on the Fury. It also includes electrical wiring diagrams. It is NOT the same as an Owners Manual. Cheers
