Default Dyno Boost Performance Chip

Was looking around eBay and ran into this ad for some type of chip and thought I would pass it along to the forum and see what the thoughts are on this, I have no interest in it but thought others would like to know about it or tear it apart on how it wouldn't/couldn't work, let me know what you think.

So first of all I' m not a mechanic.

That being said, I don't think that chip is going to do much (or anything) if you already have a dyno (pcv) or manual (cobra fi) tuned bike.

I gained around 12 HP and 7nm torque after having my Fury dyno-ed.

Also if I would to guess, I would say that without adding a less restrictive air filter on the Fury, it would never gain anything by using only a chiptune.

You would be surprised what a chip can do. It is hard to feel a 7hpr gain and you are probably only talking about a couplle pounds of torque. I don't think a Fury is worthy of being a drag bike (the way they look, who really cares anyways). Now my Musttang GT Bullitt edition is worthy of a super charger, that will change it form 285 hpr- to 416 hpr with 465 lps of torque.
So as far as changing the hpr on a Fury, I wouldnt waste my time, enerygy and money.

Just no way I see this giving you a 15-30 HP additional HP, I'm by far no genius but found this ad so figured some would break it down into layman's terms for dummies like me lol.

Looks to me like its just another fuel controller like the Cobra fi2000 but in a different package.

Read it fully and you will see it is for, and hooked up to, European models equipped with 02 sensors, which we don't have.

And if you read further it states that the 02 sensor wires don't have to be hooked up and that it's for bikes with and without them, but that's not really the point, I was just trying to figure out if they could do what they claim with that small box, like I said I don't see how it's going to give you 15-30 additional HP and 15% more torque.

all it can really do is adjust air/fuel and timing. We are already adjusting air/fuel ratio, and for timing they have boxes to adjust that. It probably works a little, but to try changing entire tuning off of fooling one sensor to manipulate the ECU's output is not the way to do it effectively.

WOW! I have never seen a super charger produce that much hp on a Musting.
I sure hope you don't just bolt on that super charger without rebuilding that Mustang. It's not set up for it.

I also think that chip for the bike is useless.
