Default You Bought Chrome Cobra pipes & Wanted Black

Fuggin Fabrication is offering to re-coat/re-finish your Chrome Cobra pipes with Velvet Black Ceramic for the cost of $175.00 a set plus shipping cost.

If you bought Chrome Cobra pipes and wanted black, you can now have them re-coated with-out the cost of a new set of exhaust. Fuggin Fabrication exhaust systems have always been offered in Chrome with internal ceramic and Velvet Black ceramic.
Our Velvet Black ceramic is spec’d to 1400 deg. and helps the pipes stay cooler by 20 to 30% than raw pipe. We have even tested our Velvet Black ceramic on the Budweiser King Funny car at 2800 deg and the finish held up with no discoloration or adhesion problems. So we know it works!

If you are interested in having your chrome pipes Velvet Black coated, please contact me at doug@fugginfabrication.com or call 480-813-4474.

Sounds good. Do you have any pics of the finished product? What is the turn around time?

We don't have any pictures of cobra pipes that we have Velvet Black ceramic coated. If we did we would not want to post our competitors product being that we have our own line of Fuggin Exhaust systems. But if you go to our web-site you can see our exhaust in Velvet Black ceramic.

Fuggin is only offing to re-coat other manufactures pipes, because we can process them along with our production runs. As far as the process, the pipes are inspected, media blasted to remove the chrome finish down to bare metal, baked at 600 deg. to remove any oils or contaminates and then Velvet Black ceramic coated.
This process takes all about one week. We generally group our production runs so that we are mixing ceramic for more than running just one pipe.

So basically you Are looking at one week plus shipping time.

We price for Velvet Black Ceramic coating is $175.00 plus shipping changes.

The Velvet Black ceramic coating is the most durable coating you can put on an exhaust system. Power coating and high temp paints will bake-out and get a white powder film after a short period of time. The ceramic coating is design to hold up to the high temp's of an exhaust and hold their color and look.

As far as what to send for ceramic coating and how to ship - The best thing to do is to send us the exhaust items you want coated. In the case of cobra fully shield pipes, just the shields.
The packaging and shipping - The pipes need to boxed and package so that no damage will be caused during shipping. (UPS or FedEx is the most cost effective) Also consider how the box may handled by the shipper. Once we receive the pipes and inspect them for damage we will notify you that we have received the pipes and begin the processing.

If you have any questions or would like to know more about the process, please feel free to contact me.
