Radiator grill dattabase
I dont mean to steal some ones idea, but I thought it was a brilliant idea. I'm looking for a radiator grill and I'd like to know the options are out there soo I think its a good time to get a collection of all the different styles out there. Show us a pic and give a few quick words about it and how its holding up against rocks and road grime. Thanks Everyone ! hope you like my (stolen) idea

I have a polished straight line billet grille from irate. Have had it for a year now and still looks great.

Irate Tribal Chromed
Small spot where a rock caused the chrome to peel. Keeping it polished makes it less noticeable.
Re-chroming it is not expensive, BTW. $50.
If it comes to that, I'll buy a new one AND have this one then re-chromed so as to have a hot-swap spare sitting around.

I've been thinking of buying an aftermarket grille, but either painting it black or having it powder coated black. I've done chrome up front and watched it rust in time. Plus I have enough chrome in that area and I think it would look different.

I think there are only around 10 grills available.

I bought the Chrome Irate Maltese Cross, powdercoated it gloss black to match the frame and painted the small center cross red to match the stripe on the wheels.

Got the Irate Polished stainless Maltese Cross grill. If you are planning to paint it, stainless will cost you a little less.
By the way Troop, your bike looks great!

Thanks, but not my bike anymore....i sold it a few months back. Wish i could have kept it and got the new one too.
