You are absolutely correct the Fury does both long and short rides with equal ease. It may be a chopper but you can do 500 to 800 kilometres in a day and not break a sweat. (You do need a good seat and a few mods like bags, forwards and Cannella risers but that's not much to make such a great bike into a cool dual purpose machine)

You're welcome Dave and thanks again for sending the information on your bracket. Now I've got the chrome done on my bike I am going to tackle the bags. I've been putting it off because my Ginz sissy bar makes the brackets harder. Don't know if I can live up to the benchmarks set by you, Gar and Lofty but I'll have a go anyway.
