Lower left cover swap
Would anyone out there who plans to paint or plasti dip their lower left chrome motor cover consider a swap. Mine has some very fine scratches and swirls from the previous owner. I can't feel them with my fingertip, so they're not deep, and they should be smooth with a coat of paint over them. They're probably not even noticeable, but I know they're there... Lol. I'll pay any shipping of course, and a reasonable amount if you require. I just can't see paying $ 100+ for a new one. They don't bother me THAT bad. I tried to take some photos, but they just won't show up very well. The worst scratch is directly out from the radiator hose "hump". If anyone can help, please let me know. Thanks.

For those that have pm'd, this is the cover I am looking for. Not the one that covers the battery. Thanks again.

I thought you meant the upper one. My lower has scratches in it from strapping to my jack stand

Ok. No worries. I appreciate the gesture brother. Something else might come along. You get that plate mount on yet?

I wish mine was black. If I could paint at all I would swap with you. I want all the chrome gone from my bike.
