Dual spike intake
I wanna do the dual spike intake on my bike. Question is has anyone done this w/o purchasing the adapters from low and mean or elsewhere. I see adapters will run over 300 plus spikes. I saw trx member or something did it on one side just didn't have the coverage on top like the adapter? Anybody have ideas or done it otherwise?

I could be wrong, but I think the low and mean adapter is the only way to get a spike on the other side since there really isn't anything else there to bolt it to.

I haven't seen any spikes mounted on the left side of the bike without an L&M adapter, but I have seen a stock air intake mounted, how they mounted it I'm not sure, was a thread that discussed it but don't know if they ever uploaded pictures and instructions to do it.

Yeah I figured that so I rolled over to eBay and bam a brand new setup both air adapters in black gloss and two black and red spikes to fit my matte bike. All brand new for 315 shipped. Guy sold his bike and had these leftover to sell.

Did you get the Fi2000 or the Power Pro? If you got the Fi2000 I would set it to 1-2-2 and see how you like it, its the same as running one spike and a aftermarket exhaust since the left side spike is just for show.

Honestly it's up to you to determine if it's worth it, depends on which adapter(s) it is, if they are L&M then yes you got a great deal, considering just the right side adapter costs like $180. If the fuel controller has dials on it then it's the Fi2000, the older one just like I have, good fuel controller, but of course the Power Pro is better but the price is higher on it.
