Yeah could do that, but then I would also have to buy the clear coat that goes with it to get it to match the gloss black powder coat, I'll figure something out after I get them.

I am right behind you, mine should be done Tuesday, nothing to worry about with them they have tape and set screws, only thing I'm thinking is how to blacken in the part that's exposed on the inside of the forks.[/QUOTE]

I replaced the tape with set screws.Set screws holds it in place after they slide on from the bottom. Still nothing to worry about. They are a pretty thight fit before tightening them down.
I painted my forks with duplicolor gloss black and 2 or3 coats of duplicolor clear. You will like the powdercoat. It has a wet look

Oh ok I thought you was still using tape along with the set screws, that should still work, people just need to remember not to tighten the set screws to much as it will mess up their lower forks if screwed on to much.

Yeah I was just trying to do something without painting the forks, but I might just have to break down and do it anyways, just haven't been real motivated lately with do anything, kind of like hibernating for the winter lol.

No doubt that I should like the powder coat, I have some other powder coated parts that look good so this will be a great addition.

I have been held up by the powder company I order from. So I started working on making the fork seal cover part of the fork covers. This will look just like the bottom point but facing up. To install them the wheel and forks will have to be removed. Then slide the seal cover on from the top. Reinstall forks and wheel. Put the lower covers on and slide the upper part over the bottom cover. I will post pictures when I'm done

Wow what a week. I finally got my powder and my powder coat gun broke. I ordered a new one today. So I'm ready for that to get here. Anyway. Here is a picture of the fork cover top.

Thanks man. I can add the tops to yours lol. The forks have to come off to install them but it's not a bad job. Oh the new powder gun will be here 1/21. So I can get yours and rayfi covers finally done lol

I appreciate the offer, but I'm good with just the lowers. Going to get the gun on the 21st, cool, and a little quicker than what I thought. Have you had many orders for these so far?

6 not counting mine. Mine will have check plate tips. So the will be a little different
