I replaced the tape with set screws.Set screws holds it in place after they slide on from the bottom. Still nothing to worry about. They are a pretty thight fit before tightening them down.
I painted my forks with duplicolor gloss black and 2 or3 coats of duplicolor clear. You will like the powdercoat. It has a wet look[/QUOTE]
Oh ok I thought you was still using tape along with the set screws, that should still work, people just need to remember not to tighten the set screws to much as it will mess up their lower forks if screwed on to much.
Yeah I was just trying to do something without painting the forks, but I might just have to break down and do it anyways, just haven't been real motivated lately with do anything, kind of like hibernating for the winter lol.
No doubt that I should like the powder coat, I have some other powder coated parts that look good so this will be a great addition.
