Default Climate Control

To say it works is an understatement !

Thought about an ON/OFF switch but since the vest is so responsive
it would require frequent switching and possibly difficult to operate while riding and wearing gloves.

A remote digital temperature controller was the better choice even if it cost as much as the vest
or twice as much as a standard bulky and fumbley 'inline' controller.

Gerbing's remote switched digital controller for permanent installation makes adjustment easy.
The LED displays short blink/long pause for rare, long blink/short pause for medium and steady ON for well done .
The digital controller is under the side cover next to the battery and is hard wired into a switched accessory port relay.
The remote control knob pot and LED just fit in the small space under the ignition switch cover not occupied by the 'radiator' cap
after very careful measuring (see attachments).

I wish I had thought to mount mine there. Very cool. I chose a different place.

You can get an evaporative cooling vest from whitehorsegear.com
I have one and it works well if you have a jacket with lots of air flow.
