Sounds like you were using the wrong tool, LOL.

Or, you could use slip joint pliers (for removal only) ...

Just move the rubber hose temporarily out of the way .

Since I don't need the space ... yet, I'll leave my charcoal canister where it is for now.
If you do remove it, remove the solenoid too then plug the vacuum line and tuck it away for later so you can connect to a hypercharger to make the flaps work ...

No kidding. I love that E added the FN skull, but the idea of one's own design is very inviting. I with I had the means to make it affordable for anyone. Eric, you're on to something there! Go with it!

Now sence its been stated several times from all the 'haters' that I just do 'Bolt Ons' and don't or can't do my own custom fab work (other than the paint, electrical, design, installation and performance aspects) I kept it as a one off piece so it could prove to everyone that I can do nice, clean custom one off items from design sketch to a finish product
.

I would maybe be inclined to produce them if the demand was there or a 2 dozen order was placed... I just don't see it happening at this point and time though.
I would definately be IN for one of these. Sorry I wasn't a Fury owner a year ago and never saw the thread. E let me know if you think about making them.

Custom pegs

Machined some custom pegs. About 1.5" longer than stock to the start of the spike, allowing me to spread my legs a little. They are smaller in diameter than stock so they don’t drag much, even though they are longer, and let me stretch my legs out just a little further. Besides I think they look mean.

Also machined some passenger pegs. The fitment wasn’t perfect so I am re-engineering these. Can’t decide whether to chrome or powder coat them. They don’t match the front but I don’t care 'cause they look mean too. Might install a quick release pin so that they are multi-purpose… J/K

Hadn’t really thought about selling them but I did make an extra set in case I wanted some powder coated. (they are just polished now). I might be interested in selling them for $100+shipping. They are made of 316, polished stainless steel, not chrome. Just FYI…
