Single element LED to Running / Brake / Turn Signal
This schematics shows you how you can:
Convert your single element rear marker lights to running light + turn signal + brake light.
And / or
Convert your single element front marker lights to running light + turn signal.
Front left and right turn signals: Traditional single to dual element conversion:
Running light runs on the half of brightness and turn signal on the full brightness.
This conversion:
Running lights runs on the full brightness and turn signal will flash OFF/ON.
Rear turn signals: Traditional single element to running + brake + turn:
Not available
This conversion:
Running lights runs on the half brightness, brake runs on the full brightness and turn signals will flash OFF/ON
Parts needed:
D1, D2 and D3 2 part #276-1103 Micro 1-Amp Rectifier Diode. Available from Radio Shack
R1 part #NTE HW2D2-10 2.2 Ohm 1/2W. available from Radio Shack
You can experiment with different nominal of the R1 resistor. More resistance will make running light it darker and will show better difference between run and brake lights and Less resistance will make running light brighter but it will be lesser different between run and brake lights.
R2 part #271-1109 150 ohm 1/2W. Available from Radio Shack
Please let me know if you need help building this circuit.

Hey Evo! If you put a RTB module on the rear single element. Will it work as brake and signal without running lights?. I have a set for the rear and just would like to get them to function as brake/turn without running light.

No, not going to work with these circuits. I'll come up with something that works for your setup.

Ok, here we go.
The brake lights will run on the half of the brightness and turns on the full brightness. R1 is 150 ohm 1/2W

Single element LED to Running+Turn Signal
Just installed my front LEDs, end up that on on the Honda you don't even need the resistors, you only need 2 diodes.

I have just ordered some , I had used them with the resistor but front running lights were dim and flashed bright on signals , thanks for the heads up
