work this out with me

On the last bike I put all the wiring for the LEDs in the battery compartment. That sucked!
The new set should be here in a few days. With the open space over the engine im thinking about putting a handlebar bag facing in (under tank) then inside there putting a tackle box insert and running all the wiring there. Id add a bottom breather with filter to the plastic box. I ride in just about anything so it has to be water tight.
Help me figure out why this wont work please.

An extra conspicuous bag for leds? why was the battery compartment bad? How much wiring goes in there? Just get a kit that wire in serial. I don't have any excess wire and my controller is the size of 4 AAA batteries.

How about a zip lock bag under the seat or by the spring. You could shorten the wires and just run them along the frame.

One inch plastic pipe, glue cap on one end.Cut slots on other end, wires in and out. After installing wires silicone the slots. This can be stored under side covers and it is waterproof.
