Next: If you modify your bike you are taking on the responsibility for your modification. If you make good relations with your dealer, they will help you fix anything that breaks on the bike that doesn't have anything to do with the modification, just make sure that your modification is not the reason they are fixing it in the first place and it will not void the warranty. Things like changing out your pipes, your air cleaner are of concern when it comes to your warranty.
These items, if you engine blows or something goes wrong with your engine, will bring your mod into light and you will most likely be the one having to pay for your mistaken mod. Just an FYI for you guy's and hope this helps.
Oh, the wires, I tried them out both ways (wired them up both ways)and they work both ways (It's just Direct Current), but go by what I suggested here in this DIY and you should be fine.
