connect threw a blah blah bla. . . .. waaaa?? lost me there, words are to big for me....Many garage remotes are powered by a 12 volt battery. The remote switch could be shorted 'ON' with a soldered jumper and the battery terminals connected to the bike's electrical system through an auxiliary momentary switch or the horn button to activate the GDO .
Super neat and virtually invisible, just the way I like it.Since I switched to my compact "2-bbl Air Cleaner" and lost my GDO location I have relocated it inside the headlamp housing and added a hand made remote switch housing attached to the clutch lever mounting clamp. The four 22ga wires are hidden inside the harness that runs from the left combo switch to the headlight.
And, yes, it works very well .
