I just installed Glen's clutch pull relief over the weekend. Wow, what a difference it makes! The clutch lever is so easy now, feels even easier than the hydraulic one I had on my previous bike. Best $20 I've spent so far on the bike (I didn't get the rivet removing tool, I just used a dremel).

Makes you wonder why the Honda engineers couldn't have designed the clutch mechanism this way from the factory . It's not exactly rocket science, just make the lever at the clutch an inch or so longer to give the cable more leverage.

I've seen one installed on a fury. It puts the clutch cable at a strange angle, and (to me) does not look good. But I did feel the difference in clutch pull and it was easier to squeeze.

velociraptor intake (wire mesh left off); Cannella black riser; dyno tuned
Cobra 3" slips (baffles in); Memphis Shades pop top sportshield; iso-driver boards
Fi2000R, ~120 mls LED lights; C&C SportTour seat; Rebel Bandit ReFlash Hog

Sounds like the person didn't twist the lower cable guide to line the cable up straight.

Just installed the clutch pull relief and it was pretty painless. Piece of cake.

Just did this mod in around 40 min's.
Used a dremel after pulling the clutch open with the wrench and holding it with a few cable ties, ground the Bottom of the rivet off gently and removed with a flat head screw driver.
Everything went back together smooth including the kuryakyn engine covers.
What a difference this has made.
My thanks to Glen at Glens VTX and StPete for the inspiration.

Great job

Outstanding rundown man.

Not bad for a gator fan!....lol....sorry brother, had to pull the trigger on that one as a diehard Nole fan.

Thanks again for the info--helps us all out!

Absolutely love this ride--she's strong but rides smoothly, and draws attention wherever she goes.

Just ordered my clutch pull relief. I should be able to put it on by Sat. I just hope I can situate the cable so it still looks good.
Thus starts the beginning of me hopefully having a quick-shift system.
