Comparing Suzuki and Honda Quality

Does anyone have experience with Suzuki quality? I've been looking at some used M109Rs as a second bike and even the low-mileage ones that claim to be garage-kept appear much more worn than my Fury. Dull paint, rust and blemished chrome is what I see. My bike has 12,500 miles and looks brand new. Why would these Suzukis with less than 5,000 miles look like they have 50,000?

Please tell me that you've had a Suzuki that didn't deteriorate quickly because I really like the M109R.

I had a 2004 GSX-R with 20k+ miles and the only problem I had with it was the ignition switch.

i have 2 suzukis a 2008 gsxr 1000 and my 1996 gsxr 750 i bought in 1995 i got 84215 miles out of the 750 motor before the rings were worn but she still ran (yes milage is not a typo) so i put in a 05 1000 motor so i plan on gettin about the same or more miles again. But the whole time i had the bike i only did regular maintenance nothing catastrophic happened shoot i never had to split the cases or remove the head but i dont know why the 109's you saw look beaten down i actually was lookin at those until i saw the fury poster.
