i live in NYC and work for the Port AUthority of NY/NJ. Im pretty sure they give preference to vets when it comes to new hires. while i am NOT a vet, many of my union bros are. some guys i know have relocated from other states. the PA if not familiar, is a huge organization that operates airports, railroads, shipping piers and bridges. most jobs are skilled blue collar, eg: carpenter, electrician,mason, HVAC, engineer(civil,electrical,mechanical) communications, heavy equip operators, electronics tech, conductors and motormen(railroad), shipping/receiving ,inspectors, police officers, signals, security guards, and many more i cant think of. check out web site ,,,,,,,,,,,panynj.org for more..fill application. mostjobs start entry level,,15-20 bucks an hour..then u take a test for your skill/trade and u jump to22-38 an hour . full excellent benefits too. good luck. if u need more help, let me know..its because of u men and women, i can do what i do..im forever grateful. i work in the railroad division
