Thumbs down Are salvage parts from Shorty Steve's Bike for sale on eBay???

These sure look like they could be from Steve's bike... especially the speedometer! This is really creepy. I suppose it's normal for insurance companies to sell stuff for salvage, but, somehow it's wrong seeing parts from Steve's bike for sale.

Am I crazy? Am I wrong?

the speedometer has "shorty steve" printed on the right side.....................if anyone decides to bid on this stuff we should make it known to everyone on the forum so we dont bid against each other, if someone decides to "keep it in the family" so to speak........my 2 cents...............t

Oh, there's a ton of his bike parted out by this group (suncoastcyclesports):

I was looking for his final drive, but it's too dinged up:

Just seems kinda wrong, but the insurance folks didn't know him or the effect he had on others... RIP Steve...

Very sad.

How do they expect to get $1000 for a bent up & scratched up frame? You can buy new for $1,600.00 or even less.
