Dj was saying it was an impulse buy driven by his relaxed state. Probably didn't really want to spend the money right now but now its H2O over the dam.

I feel your pain. Half my bike was inspired while drinking. 
The most important lesson I have learned is to not work on the bike after having a few beers.  I'll tell you what I did in Indy.
Now if the trees are something you dont think you will be using, you might consider getting them chromed, there is a market for them.

Yeah, it's not that I don't want them, just wasn't financially comfortable pulling the trigger.
Pretty sure I'll get them chromed, even if it's just until I manage to pull off the springer project someday.

I got mine back a couple of weeks ago and they look great. $135 for the top and $135 for the lower. Tell them your from the Fury Forum and you'll probably get a better price than I did.
