tax season is almost here
Greetings all,,,,,
In 71 days tax season will be on us once again & i would like to throw out a $50 discount to any fury forum member that we prepare taxes for......
My company is called American Family Tax Services & we have two offices,
Locust Grove, GA & Social Circle, Ga. We also do many out of state returns so you could scan & email your info & we prepare it & e-file for you.
We are not a huge company where all you are is a number, we are a small privately owned company & will work to get you the absolute most $$$ back that you deserve.
not really trying to plug the company but moreso of helping out all my Fury brothers & sisters.

Good looking out bro. I stopped going to HnR when I found a small firm. Had the previous year checked and they missed 189. Never again. Good luck this season

I use TurboTax. It's actually pretty thorough.

yep H&R will take the easy way out quite often,,,,,, the local H&R here told a woman last year she couldnt claim her 17 yr old son as a dependant & he was still in highschool........ truth to it is she was not allowed to get the child tax credit for him (it stops when the child hit 16) but could still get the dependant credit for him,,,, so i tripled her refund & looked like a superstar to her.......
turbo is good but keep in mind its only as good as you allow it to be,,,,,,, & you get what you pay for......... I go to classes & forum year round to get the latest knowledge of what we can & cant write off.
not tooting my own horn,,,,but if you ever use us (or another private firm) you will never use turbo tax again.
I normally do little over 3k returns each year & have clients all over the states.
(my furthest is Hawaii,,,, she mails hers to me every year & i keep begging her to let me deliver her refund to her hahahaha)

I'm not saying anything bad about you, your firm, or CPA's at all. Just stated what I use.
