HAPPY VETERAN'S DAY!!!!!
Just wanted to say thanks toall of you who have served in the Active Duty Military, Reserve, State National Guard's. Be sure and take advantage of the free meals that Applebee's / Golden Corral and others in your area.
Quick War Story: I went to a Cracker Barrell on Vet's Day one year. I had my Camo's on because I was asked to guest speak for a local Ladies Group and as I was eating Breakfast, the waitress came over and said "Sir, someone paid for your meal and said thanks for your service." I asked who they were and she said that they had left. I wanted to thank them.
After breakfast, I gave my speech and about two hours later, I went to a Watch shop to have my watch band sized. I asked how much, the lady gave it to me and said no charge. Thanks, I said.
I dropped in a Starbucks next door to get a cup of coffee for my ride home. They gave it to me free.....I got in the car, drove home, took my uniform off ....afraid I might get an intimate gift from some woman passing by and my Wife would find out and shoot me.... Ahhhhh, the power of the Uniform!!!!LOL
Forum Members who served...Thanks for your Service! PS: JW, don't try this... we're too ugly to get away with it now!!! lmao

Thank you to those that have paid the ultimate sacrifice, and to those that are still serving, it's appreciated.
