Default Political Discussions - Reader/Responder Beware

OK, since I know there was once a rules thread that said "no politics" and now it's gone ... and since I know some people are getting upset with others on this Forum because joking or not, there's an assumed tone to each response ... I think it's a good idea to keep this in mind:

This Forum is open to some topics you may not wish to read a/o respond
    • If you don't want to get offended or offend anyone, steer clear
    • If you read it and realize it's a touchy topic, use your first instincts to move on elsewhere
    • Realize that some people are responding just to get others' goat
    • Recognize that everyone thinks they have "the facts"
I'm simply posting this as a heads-up so people take a deep breath and get back to being the Fury Family. I personally don't want to see friendships ripped apart over differences none of us really have any say in how things go in DC.

Farbeit for me not to throw my 2 cents into the mix.....

One great thing about this forum is not only the invaluable information re the fury and all possible venues with it, but also the platform for general discussion of just about anything. I admire the fact that Admin and Mods are tolerant enough to recognize that and to recognize that we are, for the most part, adults here with vast socioeconomic differences. I've noticed that many of the more controversial (if that is the correct word) threads have an extremely quick and high hit rate.....in other words, high ratings....that certainly shows the interest in the forum and the platform itself. The Mods and the Sponsors should love the fact that the platform of this forum brings many people for differing reasons which would definitely add to the economic benefit of the sponsors as well, given we ALL love the fury and will do what we can to help fellow Fury Riders how we can. This forum isn't a dull, complacent, dwindling atmosphere..........it's growing, partly due to the controversy and the matureness of those involved. Speaking directly here, many forum members know me and many don't. They see Steveo (yeah, I'm bringing you into the mix) and I bantering back and forth and are actually entertained by it. Many have said in joining that one of the draws is the entertainment factor. Understand, with me anyway, that is merely what it is. Those who know me would concur. I do see some discord occurring which shouldn't and I understand St.Pete's thread purpose.

bottom line is we are all fury riders, or potential fury riders or past fury riders and we enjoy the diversity...as the hit rating obviously depicts......

And, in finality, Steveo, they hate me more than you!!!!!!! IF you don't believe me, take a poll!!!!!!

...and the beauty of being me is, I really don't give a damn, you stupid ass dumbshits! LOL

I've said it several times and I'll keep preaching it: Life is too damn short to spend all your time being offended or pissed off. I like to be happy and I'm going to have as much fun as I can in this life.

You take life too serious and you're not gonna' be very happy.

Should've probably titled the thread something else.........most folks are so fed up with politics, they won't even open it.
