Black Friday
Well it’s 4:10am and I am heading out to do a little “Black Friday” shopping with my son. This is crazy. I’ll report back later with what I end up with and if I get into any altercations, lol. 
How many of you knuckleheads are out shopping this morning and how did it go? Pic’s would be nice…
P.S. On our way home from Thanksgiving Day Turkey with family, every Walmart parking lot was pack, I mean packed and you know how big some of the people are at Walmart. I tried to get my wife to let me stop and go in just to see the mayhem, but she wouldn't let me.

I went to Target at 9pm last night in an attempt to get a Gateway 15" laptop with Windows 8 for $350 (regularly $530). Nine in stock - went out the door like crazy and I wasn't one of them.
C'est la vie.
Thinking about an Asus Taichi when they finally come out -- but not sure I want to spend anywhere near that much money.
Bah humbug!

I spent the night and morning driving to Michigan's UP. Every Walmart parking lot we spotted from the highway was packed.
Woke up this afternoon and went into the local Walmart. Still had some TV's and laptops on skids. great to be in a small town. Anyone need anything, LOL

I was going to try and score a deal on a scope at Cablela's... but wound up playing Assassin's creed all morning and now watching Full Throttle Saloon, veged out on the couch. I sure as hell wasn't getting up at 4am for shopping. I didn't use a vacation day to get up earlier than a work day!

I don't get it either.
I'm trying to stay away from all stores until this holiday shit is over.
Other than going to work, I'm not going back into town until after the first of the year.

Us Aussies not having Thanksgiving don't have a Black Friday with crazed shoppers, so we just hear the reports of all the folks trampled to death in the rush over there in the USA. We're not exempt from the craziness either, we have the same thing as the Black Friday Sales only we have it on Boxing Day (day after Christmas 26 December). To make it worse Boxing day is a public holiday so everyone is off work and can make it to the sales........
