I personally don't care either way, but lets not forget that it's to cold to ride in a lot of places so people spend more time on the forum starting threads discussing ideas, and talking about other things they are interested in, lets all also remember that you have the right to not look at a thread or comment if you're not interested, I have been told that myself a couple of times.

As for people leaving a forum, well that's their choice, I like Mental and consider him a friend, but it's his choice to stay or go, just like it's anybodies, you decide what you are willing to deal with when you are online, not everything that is said or done online is in line with your view or ideas.

I know it's hard but lets not turn this place into a soap opera / Jerry Springer special just because we are bored, this happens every winter when people are trapped inside and can't ride.

Wait, that makes way too much sense. LOL

Isn't it better to ban something and have it taken away from the people who really do enjoy discussing/debating politics and are able to do so in a mature manner?

LOL! Well.......nobody's perfect. Besides, you may get a little "agitated" at times...maybe even "almost" out of hand, but I wouldn't necessarily say that you weren't mature........all the time......LOL

".....do gooding...."....????..... You described me as "do gooding"? What in the hell?

What’s Normal in a Profoundly Abnormal Society?

“The real hopeless victims of mental illness are to be found among those who appear to be most normal. Many of them are normal because they are so well adjusted to our mode of existence, because their human voice has been silenced so early in their lives, that they do not even struggle or suffer or develop symptoms as the neurotic does.” They are normal not in what may be called the absolute sense of the word; they are normal only in relation to a profoundly abnormal society. Their perfect adjustment to that abnormal society is a measure of their mental sickness. These millions of abnormally normal people, living without fuss in a society to which, if they were fully human beings, they ought not to be adjusted.” – Aldous Huxley – Brave New World Revisited
