Some truth to that.
on this topic, funny I had a fellow Canadian visiting LA from Vancouver yesterday he went out with some friends at night in LA and every one is wearing jackets and saying it is cold and he was in just a shirt and says to them guys this is our summer weather.

Very funny, as I have Canadian friends I totally understand.

By comparison us Sydney siders are wimps, it goes something like this.

10 C (50 F) Damn it's cold, it must be the middle of winter
7 C (44.6 F) Man it's freezing, it must be snowing, I bet the snow is a metre deep outside (it never snows in Sydney)
6 C (42.8 F) I can't stand this cold any longer, what's wrong with this heater it only goes up to 10. Honey can you book us a flight to Queensland before we turn into blocks of ice?
