New Illinois Concealed Carry Law
Federal Appeals court has just ruled that Illinois has 180 days to craft a concealed carry law and to begin issuing permits! big win on last state to prohibit.

I saw this too. Knowing this state, they'll make it almost impossible for the normal Joe to get a permit. I'm gonna try though.

in the county i reside in, in fabulous upstate NY, they make it very clear, you have to have 5 people vouch for you to just carry the gun in the trunk,, with the ammo totally separate of course, and no way in hell will the judge approve a carry concealed permit.........the fucking criminals all seem to have no problem carrying..............thanks New York for looking out for me lol...........................t

Criminals will always have the guns what there should be is a national carry permit for all states so that good citizens of the US of A can protect themselves and there families if they or we should ever be faced with that situation upon us.

Congrats Illinois! I'm from Chicago originally. I was also a security professional there. People need to be able to protect themselves. A cellphone doesn't protect you.

Too late for the Chicago politician that got arrested at O'hare for boarding the plane with the gun in his bag. LOL
I would think for the amount of money it would generate, they would be all for this.

I can carry concealed anywhere in the state except NYC. Thats ok though as I don't ever plan on going there.
