Yeah, we should tell the Sandy Hooks victim's families that the murder rate is higher in South Africa.... They just don't how good they got here.

All governments are too large, that is the nature of government. Governments don't care if we like something or not, they are always looking at what the other ones do. You can bet your last dollar the US government is eying up the tax rates in the other developed countries and are trying to figure out how to do the same thing in the USA. Enjoy your low tax while you can, I doubt it will last.

I think Americans are resilient enough to take our country back. There is a reason everyone wants to come here and despite the current administration, this country will overcome. The next 4 years will be hard, but I think the USA is smart enough to overcome this short term set back. If not, then we will be like all the other strugling countries around the world. Can you imagine that? Where would everyone turn when they needed help???

Maybe we (as in the United States) should stop giving all these billions of dollars to these other countries so we can get our affairs straight first. My personal belief is that we have the middle class that's barely keeping the economy afloat while to many are out of work (a lot because they would rather get welfare than work and pay their share, yes I know some actually need help) and not paying into the system yet receiving from it.

Actually us Aussies feel we should also stop giving away billions and fix the problems at home first as well. The middle class here are also the ones who bear the burden of paying for the governments stuff ups.
