Loss of a friend *PLEASE READ*
I ask that no one uses this to bash on what should have or could have been done differently. This was in one of our local NJ papers this week.
BRICK — A 26-year-old Brick man suffered head injuries after his motorcycle flipped on a residential road Friday night.
Justin Giblock was transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune, with what authorities described as head trauma after his Kawasaki motorcycle overturned near the corner of Aschby and Schindler Drive. The incident took place just before 9 p.m. south of Drum Point Road.
According to the police report, Giblock's vehicle overturned while trying to negotiate a turn onto Schindler Drive. He wasn't wearing a helmet at the time and his head apparently hit the pavement.
The area was closed for about one hour as first responders transported Giblock to the hospital.
Patrolmen Jay Lampiasi and Jeff Lindquist are leading the investigation
Well Justin passed yesterday leaving behind his 3 year old son. Coulda woulda shoulda we all know but everyone makes mistakes. Ive been very good friends with Justin for several years and he was never the kind to put himself in harms way. We are all guilty of doing things that could turn out disastrous. I know i am. All i ask law or not all my fury brothers / sisters and every other bike rider out there please wear a helmet and be safe. The holidays wouldnt be the same in your family without you.

Sorry to see that your friend passed away, my condolences to his family and friends.
We've had 6 bikers lose their lives down here in the past couple of months, mostly through no fault of their own. Even a guy on a riding mower, mowing his yard beside the highway was hit and killed.
Thanks for sharing this....we certainly need to count our blessings...

Sorry to hear about your loss. I've had a few friends come close to loosing their lives over a lapse of judgement.

My last fall I hit pavement face down, glad I had on full face helmet then and that's what I suggest to anyone who rides now!
