Image, Video & Avatar Posting Basics

There has to be an easer way than Photo bucket and all that other crap..

I don't know what happened to the instructions in the very first post of this thread, but this post is long overdue to be fixed/updated. So, here's an example as I post this thread update:

1. Scroll down and click on Manage Attachments

2. Use the Browse AND Upload buttons to upload up to 5 photos

3. Once you've uploaded all of your pics, close the Browse-and-Upload window
4. Scroll down and you'll see a list of your uploaded attachment
5. Right Mouse Click on the first photo and choose "Copy Shortcut"

6. Come back up to the area where you're typing, place your cursor where you want the photo to fit, and click on the Insert Photo icon

7. A prompt for your photo will pop-up. Paste the shortcut (URL) you copied in Step 5 into this prompt and click OK

That is how you do it. And, you repeat Steps 4 thru 7 for the remaining, if any, photos you still want in-line in your post.

Also, if you've had a b!tch of a time getting a YouTube video embedded, you only need the value after the "v=" portion of the URL.

So, if you have a video like "Don't Call me Francis"

The YouTube code in this thread should be (minus the hypens in you-tube):
