Default Suggestions on a enclosed trailer

I was wondering if any one has an enclosed trailer for hauling their bikes?
I am wondering about the appropriate size to look at.
I'm wanting something that is not too large, but will hold my Fury and a 750 Shadow Spirit.
Looking to make some travel this summer and just having the availability to open the back door and ride.
The other variable is, I have to keep it in my drive way, and attach it to my Jeep.

Not sure if a 6x12 will get it or a 7x12. I'm trying to keep it to a reasonable size.

Any feedback or suggestions would be appreciated..

Cool, looking at trailers 6' is a little too small width wise.
7x12 seems to be the way to go..
Thanks

You definetly want to get a tow package on top of all of this. Something that is connected directly to the frame. This will help you out with the weight concerns along with a dual axles to distribute the weight of the trailer. I am sure you remember how my truck looked with that single axle with a sixteen foot trailer with our three bikes on there. Just a thought for you.

I have a tow bar and sleeve already on the Jeep attached to the frame. I even have two sleeves, one that drops down.
The Jeep has a 4 inch suspension lift with 33 inch tires..
I used to have a pop-up camper i used to tow with it..
Yes, I remember how it looked..
Thanks for the input..

Default Trailer

Tony I have a 7 x 14 v-nose I had two bike racks with 8 tie downs installed it pulls great I also had the rear landing legs installed so I can load and unload my bike when the trailer is not hooked to my truck. The v-nose is the way to go. mine is a hourton hauler i have owned two of these trailers they are well built. there is a company that called EZ-go they make motorcycle trailers but they are not as tall I am 6 ft. and can stand stright up in my trailer I can send you some pictures if you would like for me to . Well I do alot of towing,,Most People that tow,,dont understand GVWR,,GCWR,,,,
GVWR = Gross Vehicle Weight Rating,,,this is what you can tow plus your total weight of your vehicle plus passengers and cargo,,,GCWR = Gross Carry Weight Rating,,How much your vehicle is rated to tow. Im assuming a Jeep probably has a 3000LB rating on the bumper which will be no good in your case,,you need a class 3 or 4 hitch attached to frame. im sure the trailer if its a 6X12 or greater with a duel axle is rated around 2500 lbs dry, Load 2 bikes the weight about 750Lbs each plus your gear. Make sure you find out what the total carrying capacity is of the trailer to support the weight your gonna put in it. NC law is if the total weight of the trailer is above 2000lbs u must have electric brakes . But my concern is are you gonna exceed the total GVWR of the jeep. what that means is you take the total weight of jeep plus passengers, full tank of gas,and the trailer with bikes in it. Like my truck has a GVRW of 18,000 lbs,,means my truck is almost 8000, my trailer weighs almost 8000 also,,which totals 16,000 lbs total,,I still have a 2000 lb gap not to exceed the max GVWR. Putting a tranny cooler wont solve any issues if your maxing out the weight of what your jeep can pull over a long haul, what size rear differential do you have? 4wd vehicles loose 1000lbs of total towing off the bat. there are so many factors in towing. My thing is,,this vehicle has to be safe for my family if im towing,,your brakes have to support the load your pulling to keep you from having and accident also...Im just trying to help my friend,,hope this helps..
