The U-70 Chrome SkidLid was about $50+/-. I would pay between $150 and $200 for a quality DOT-approved (not just a DOT sticker on a novelty helmet, folks) low-profile half-helmet in a heartbeat.

But, I can't even find that, on-line.

Anyone have suggestions ... beside "don't wear a helmet"?

I have a mushroom cap and it pull to much on my chin!!!

I have one of these and it doesn't look like a mushroom on my head, and is actually pretty comfortable and has a visor built in.
