Well anytime I have to do plumbing I just wanna grab a plumber and SMACK him. If you didnt get my point its I HATE PLUMBING. Well no more was at the hardware store because a buddy finally told me about these fittings called Sharkbite or Gator fittings. Been fighting a leak under my sink for the last few days had it fixed in 5 minutes. These fittings just push right onto your pipe no glue no mess. It does say illegal in california and vermont on the package though sorry about your luck.

they are a little costy but well worth it, been using them for years..

I hate it also, but fortunately, my brother-in-law owns a Plumbing company. Therefore I get to pay twice as much as having a plumber do the work.

Not a fan of any compression fitting, at all.
Not too keen on all this new PVC piping, either.

Give me copper & solder any day of the week.

Do you have PVC supply lines???
Good thing I was a plumber for 5 years...

I just rodded out Kit sink and upstairs tub and nothing beats a real Spartan rodder when it come to cloged drains
They have always had some thing or other to fix leaks if you go to the Plumb Supply store the real ones for Contractors
Im sure there some reason real plumbers dont like this product... When it comes to copper nothing beats sweating the pipes most plumbers can stop leaks and sweat copper pretty easy as fast as it takes to go to store and back. Its the same as welding for pressure of 70 psi and up some PSI can get to 100psi at the tap.

But these are neat
