Default Someone busted my mirror.

WTF?!?!?! Last night myself and the Mrs went to Bonefish Grill. It was a beautiful night so we took the Fury. Halfway through dinner an employee comes to me and said, "excuse me sir but some kids are around your bike". I walked outside and the had already left. Someone said "Hey man that yours? 3 kids just ran away from it." I walked to the bike expecting the worst. They smashed my fuckin mirror. I called the police told them what happened, finished my diner then they showed up to do the police report. I was brought up to RESPECT OTHER PEOPLES SHIT!!!! This is what happens when XBOX 360 is your babysitter i guess. Sorry for bitching/venting but I'm fuckin pissed.

That sucks Suv!
Don't know if it would help or be worth it to you but I would think there would be cameras in the parking lot!
Not that they would be able to find who it is.
Believe it or not I am going to Bonefish grill tonight for my 3 year anniversary with my wife. We go there every year! I will be sure to leave the bike at home!
What does that mirror cost? And what kind is it? Might be a used one around here someone is willing to get rid of.

Chilean Sea Bass with Lemon Butter sauce and a side of steamed asparagus. One of the best dishes I've ever had.

The mirror is like $45. and they can be bought individual so thats not bad. if someone had the same one in good condition I'd snatch it up but the only other person I saw with these was RSS. I could be wrong tho.

Congrats on the Anniversary.

Last year I when to Wally World (Wal-Mart) to pick up a skrip for my son, I always park the Fury up by the front where the cameras aim. I went inside got the meds and checked out some other things I needed. I came walking and turned to where my bike was sitting and what do I see....Some friggin AH sitting on the bike with his Girlfreind taking a picture of him...I yelled "WTF are you doing on my bike?" He looked an me jumped off the bike and let go....the kick-stand wasn't down all the way so the bike started falling......Major decision.....let the bike fall and chase the AH down and beat the shit out of him or try and catch the bike to prevent any major damages..... I choose the later and let the AH run away....Minor dent in the tank and was able to find a guy who popped it back out with a dent removal kit(he was a pro). Cost me about $90 to get done but was worth it. Two months later I'm back in Waly World and lo and behold who do I see....The friggin AH!!!with his GF.....I walked up to him and started yelling at him and security came up wanting to know what was wrong...Also a Local LEO...I told them both what he had done....The LEO asked if I had made a report and I told yes....the AH looked like he was going to cry....he wanted to know what he could do to make it right I told him $200 to get the tank fixed....he went to ATM got the money and paid me.....The manager at Wally World told him not to ever come back and the LEO escorted him out.... Then asked me "did it really cost ya $200 to get the tank fixed"....I laughed and said no only $90 but I figured the other $110 was for pain and suffering... We both laughed.

Things like this dont happen in Brick NJ. Brick was voted the best town to live in with the least amount of crime not too long ago. I guess they are making up for lost time. I was down there just a couple weekends ago cruising around looking for trouble ... but didnt find her.

Intially when i saw the post, i figured that they snapped the mirror at the post leaving the perch with the mirror stud inside it. That would suck. Thankfully they didnt dent or scratch your tank.

What happened to suvettez400 and Bones429 is the reason that I went with the Scorpio Alarm system. In both cases it would have put out an ear piercing alarm that would have stopped the kids from smashing the mirror and anyone sitting on the bike. And at the same time the remote in your pocket would have alerted you that something was going on your bike.

And no I ant no sales man. Its just we get so much tied up in our bikes that it is stupid not to protect them with a good system.

Well that really sucks... after having my bike for about three weeks and getting ready to take it into the shop for its first service at 600 miles I had both of my mirrors stolen and both seat slashed... it really does suck when this stuff happens. You should see if there was a camera in the area of the restuarant and see if you can track the kids down and give them a good olde licking across their a$$... aka. Can of Whoope A$$.
