Obviously. The more people depend on the government, the more control the government has over them. I guess people have become so damn lazy, they would prefer to be under control. I'm pretty lazy, but damn...I'd prefer to take care of myself and be free and keep the damn government out of my business and my paycheck.

Here's the thing.....he's structuring things (or wanting to) so that the "rich" have to give back....once Obama care and other things come into play, commodities, goods, etc...(stuff you buy) will have price increases because businesses will have to pass thru the costs if they want to make any kind of profit (oh, heaven forbid that someone wants to profit - what the hell do you think those that do nothing to get entitlements without really being entitled to receive them do??? - profit). bottom lines will dwindle and businesses will go under because they can't compete not only on our soil but with foreign businesses. Jobs lost, revenues down.....taxes (in forms other than being described as taxes) will have to increase to increase the govt revenue...that won't be enough, so our leaders will have to seek more financial assistance (not only debt, but the sale of American assets) from abroad. The Chinese (communists, who belittle women, are anti same sex union, anti female children - but tolerate some to populate, etc) will increase their ownings here on our soil and in our economy. One day they will call the note.......what happens then? Through Obama, business will dminish, foreign ownership of us will increase, debt will rise, taxes will rise, costs of basic need items will rise, you name it......that's exactly where we are and where we are headed quickly.

Exactly, it is called the Trickle down effect. Sheeple are to blind to see, raise taxes on the wealthy,...yeah they are going to foot the bill. No business=No Goods=Government Control....ON EVERYTHING down to how many squares you use to wipe your ass!

Thats exactly what they want. We need to say "screw it" and quit allowing them to keep taking our money. I am not paying anymore! And you(government) need to quit spending period! Make more cuts, monetary and personnel. No spending, smaller government.

As much as it pains me, I now agree with you.

I've always paid my share, and more. But obviously we're doing something wrong. So lets all join the leeches and suck more money out of the government so someone else can pay for it. Not sure who the "someone" else will be once all the money's gone, but HEY! It will be a fun ride will it lasts!
