BESIDES "OBAMACARE" ...

... I would like specifics as to why you are so anti-Obama. When I say specifics, I do not want to hear/read "because he is a Socialist" or "because he wants to destroy America" or "because he's anti-business".

I would really appreciate specific bills (again, other than Obamacare) that you feel Obama drove to be passed with which you sorely disagree.

And, I will pre-empt your response to this thread to say that I am not aware of any bill passed or up for consideration that changes gun rights, for one.

Finally, I will also say that I am not happy, at all, with his lack of follow-through for the so-called transparency of DC's process, his continuance of Guantanamo Bay (GiTMO) detentions, and his past inability to drive some points home with a little passion or conviction.

He did stop the re-importation of nearly 1 million American made M1 Garands that we have stored in South Korea. They could make a lot of money selling those to us. But no, they don't want us to have guns at all if they could pull it off.

It's a pet peeve of mine for someone to take their personal hatred toward something and tell me that I can't have it because they don't think its good for me. That's part of my beef with him.

Gulf of Mexico Drilling Moratorium

I don't hate Obama (or any politician for that matter). That said, the way the moratorium has been handled pisses me off. Pumping $535M into the failed Solyndra Taj Mahal just makes it worse.

Seems like nonsensical legislation. What the hell is wrong with collecting historical war items (except, maybe/probably, live grenades/mortars). How many people already have Nazi and Russian war pieces?

Aren't there bigger issues for politicians to look at? Good grief

I agree it's a shame. In some bit of defense, I saw videos of the facility ... it looked quite viable. It was their money plans (sell for half the cost of product) that was ridiculous. I am very confused who set up the business plan for that company.

On that note, I could pop a coronary cork that our entire Gov't still cannot account for some $6.6BILLION in Iraq!

And to be clear, I AM NOT pointing at any administration for this issue ... this is a f**k-up across the board with the entire US Gov't agencies with any fingers in this fiasco of money loss.

I hear it over and over ... I am looking for specific legislation that has been submitted or passed or rejected that leads to this conclusion/impression.

I think entitlements need major rewriting and adjusting, just so you know. Change "welfare" for the able to "re-education/re-training".

I guess I didn't word that right. Let me rephrase. I didn't vote for him the first time and won't be voting for him this time because he is a liberal democrat. Sorry for the confusion......
