Letter From Mary Palmer

Gang:

I sent Mary a note of condolences from the Forum along with a money order for $200 (the $130 left from the sale of the IMO Shorty Steve patches and a $70 contribution from Sludge -- Paul McTrash) and got a note from her that I wanted to share with the forum.

Dear Richard & Fury Forum--

I do not know how to begin to thank you for your kindness. I received the patches as well. Please accept my apologies for not having been in touch sooner. I haven't been on the Forum, either. This has been so extremely painful for me. I had to move out of our apartment because the landlord would not let me stay. That has upset me because Roger (the landlord) and Steven were close friends for 18 years and he was devistated by his death. He and I worked so hard on redecorating the apartment and I cannot understand why he would not let me stay. I've had to move back home with my parents and it has been an adjustment. When I try to go on the Forum, I see the banner dedicated to Steven and I just get upset all over again. There are so many reminders. We were still newlyweds.

All of you on the Forum have been so wonderful at reaching out to me. Please let them know how very touched I am to be the recipient of such kindness. Hopefully, one day soon, I will be back on the Forum.
