Go to windows system restore and restore from a previous date when you know everything worked. Then immediatly update your antivirus and do a full scan.
This route has almost no risk and very high probablitiy of success.
The funny thing is I had to do exactly that last week as I was hit with the fakelalert 2011 virus from somewhere on this site (drive by virus).
