Default 251,000 HDs Recalled

Just saw on the news that HD recalled touring & trikes from 2009 to 2012 due to heat from the exhaust was causing wiring & brake failure ! Glad I decided on a Honda !

I about fell off my chair about heat and breakdowns and Hondas.....

Did I mention my Fury left me beside the road more times in two weeks last summer than all my Harleys combined. Now granted since Honda warrantied my fuel pump I have not broke down again....I just thought we ought not crow too loudly about heat and breakdowns.

There will always be a percentage of bikes issues specially in a new design like the Fury , but 1/4 of a million over 4 years " Cock a Doodle Do "

LOL; Once again, suspicions confirmed! They're a piece-of-shit, with a big price tag.

Cheers

Just like jwood said you will always have a small percent that has problems. But I got to say I have not had one issue with my bike nor has the Shawn the guy I work with. We both own 2010's two for two! But I must say that I feel bad for every one that does incounter problems. Hopefully it will not deter others from buying, riding or enjoying the ride of the fury. I am luck and proud to own
my fury.

I just hired a paralegal and her first day was today. Turns out she rides a Harley. Guess I need to ask more questions during the interview process, lol. Just kidding, I showed her pics of mine and she was very complementary.

BTW, I will be sure to let her know about this recall.

Wow. That's crazy. I wonder how much that will cost them? And since Honda has been taking their sales away with the release of the Fury they'll have to jack up their prices to make up for it.

Thank you Honda for thinking outside the box and giving me my Fury.
