It's all about the attitude.

I agree with the remark above 100% all are proud of the accomplishments and they should be. If someone wants to leave, then leave no use in making some big statement about it. I know if I ever get tired I just want be here anymore and that's it. I am just wondering if this thread will get as many hits and answers as Billy's did when he left but Billy is still around and post every now and then and it is good to hear from him.

Well...
I wasn't gonna post anything, then I realized my "Signature"...
I didn't think I was still a 'newb' but I guess Iam, I still have a "signature" that has a pic of my Fury the day I brought her home (bone-stock). lmao
I was proud then, and I'm still proud now.
That pic was taken when I was very, very, proud. It cost me alot of money to buy that bike, and just looking at it made think about all the work I had to do, to be able to buy it. I'm even proud now just talking about it.
But, time to move on... I've got mod's in my garage to put on, and forks to finish... (polishing) "ergh..." lots of work. Special thanks to Big John for his "polishing posts".
Dklassen said it best:

How about the guy who get's his first set of pipes and posts a photo even through we've all seen the pipes a hundred times? I still love seeing the pics. Why? Because I can feel his excitement and maybe relive a little bit of it with him. Isn't that the point?
What ever happened to being a motorcycle ENTHUSIAST?

I like to show off my "stuff" to people that can appreciate my... LOVE/ENTHUSIASM for a motorcycle.

Well, seeing as I am one of the newer newbs and I have made posts about doing mods, like removing reflectors, adding mirrors, pipes etc, taking my first long ride and first group ride, let me say I'm sorry to those that it irritates. But, this is my first bike that I am proud of and I love it! Being new to motorcycles, I have a LOT to learn and I'll probably ask some stupid questions but you know what, that's how we all have learned things. I'm not smart enough to fab up things, nor rich enough, nor have the skills. I cannot take my bike to the level that some of you're at, and I'm sure that there are a lot of people here that are in the same boat, so all we can do is find things that we can buy in order to customize our bikes. And frankly, I don't know if I want to. I've done that with cars. You get to a point where it's so customized, you can't really enjoy it anymore. My Mustang was that way. It was in a magazine, had the big photoshoot and won a lot of awards but I was so worried about anything happening to it, it was more work than it was worth and took a lot of the 'joy' out of it. I bought my bike to ride and enjoy it, not to just sit and look pretty and worry and agonize if it gets a scratch. I don't need another 'garage queen'. I enjoy seeing all the newbs, reading about their excitement...cause we all were there at one time, and seeing what they do to their bikes, no matter how small it is. I've gotten a lot of ideas from them and I thank them for that.

My 'mod' list has everything from removing reflectors and changing grips to custom fabricating my taillight housing and my forward controls. They're all 'mods' to me because they are items I modified from original or stock. Adding a part is a modification in my book whether your a newb or a veteran of the board. I'm damn proud of my bike and even prouder of the work I put into it. Hell, i'm proud of the custom oil drain pan I made to change the oil because my other one was too tall. And personally I have no problem when someone asks a question that's in the FAQ or that there is a thread on already; I did that and people helped me and now I enjoy spreading the knowledge I've gained to the new gen of Fury riders. It's a forum, if people don't ask questions than what the hell does it exist for? Just for the Chicks on Fury Pics thread?

wow... sounds like someone is crying for attention... Do you need a hug Easy E???
No need to make such a long drawn out story about "whoa is me...", "I'm tired of the same question...", "stock sissy bar this...", "stock sissy bar that...", "reflectors.. boohoo-hoo..."
Its a forum bro!!! "Newbs" come and go... other riders come and go... If you wanna go, by all means go... No one is holding you back from doing what YOU want to do. You don't need anyone to beg you to stay... because it really sounds like you want people to beg you to stay...
Its like you made references about your bike being the first Fury this... and first Fury that... blah blah blah blah blah... So what...
Honestly, you do have a "nice" bike... doesnt' do much for me but thats my opinion... as you have your opinions of other peoples "oe mods"... it is what it is bro... like some of the other members here, they are "ENTHUSIASTS" so its cool to see what "oe" mod they did...
I guess I'm saying bye and ride safe... I don't even know why I let this post get to me... I just pulled an "EasyE" I guess... hahahahahahahah
on a serious note EasyE.
Just ride safe out there bro and take care of that "First Fury in V-Twin Mag"....

modification (mŏd'ə-fĭ-kā'shən) Pronunciation Key
A change in an organism that results from external influences.
Being able to "modify" the appearance of something is considered a modification.
As you said Easy, It's just opinions.
Some of us have all felt at one time or another that we can do or say what ever we want to on here (me included) but this is not the case. Sometimes we get to the point where you think your posting so much, or helping so much, that you own the joint.
Easy, you have put a lot of time and effort into your bike and are a huge help around here. But why go after a guy posting a pic of his sissy bar. Why? Because your bike is modded to the hilt so it seems like a waste of time to you for someone to post a pic of only a sissy bar, and perhaps to me too. Thats why.
But it's not about us. It's about him and his new sissy bar that is as new and kick ass to him as your first mod (yes, it is a mod) was.
I have changed my bike so much that to me your bike is no big deal at all. I have been the first to add certain parts or even receive the first part made from a vendor for the fury. So to me yours is just another modded out Fury. Not a fan of it at all. I cant seem to get past the huge rear fender being so much bigger then the tire. I do love the paint though! And don't take offense because unless you own a matte silver odds are you wont like them at all! Believe me, people let me know their feelings on this. It's just an opinion. kind of like me not being a fan of Richards blue fury . I like Blue fury's, just not Richards.
But my point is this. Even though we are used to seeing pretty much every available part on the fury a hundred times over, new members aren't. My first thought of Commanders pic of his sissy bar was "I remember my first mod and how i felt looking at it" and being able to relate to him and his post. For me the point is not the pic of the sissy bar but the feeling it gives you when you get and install the sissy bar. I know you know what I mean. So suck it up!

Will be missing you around Easy... Take care and hope to see you down the road some time. I have taken several breaks from the forum's from time to time and come back to see what may be new out there. Have a nice break and hope to see you pop in with a occasional comment here and there in six months or so.

That WAS unexpectedly lucid - I have to concur.
But, now I'm concerned about what Byber thinks about my blue modded-out Fury
