I really wanted the Bills to tank this year so they could get Luck... but apparently "our" brass here think Fitz is the answer...
I didn't realize Manning was getting all that cash as a bonus... it does create a sticky situation, I'm sure Indy didn't think they'd be at the bottom this year, therefore unable to obtain Luck...
Colts are in a tough spot now by letting Manning call all the shots the last few years. I don’t see anyone picking up Manning’s contract. I really don’t see Luck sitting on the sidelines watching Manning either. He would be better off to go to a place like Miami where he can play right away.
As far as Luck goes, he is a good QB, but I still don’t see the NFL tight passes into coverage that he would have to make at the next level.
I think when it's said and done the Colts will not give him the bonus & allow him to become a free agent, then if no teams are willing to take on his salary he will have to play for less $ or retire like Marvin did.
A guy that works with me is close to the family. I'm hearing that although he has made no public statement.....he's pretty much done playing.....
The key in that will be if he starts throwing soon & gets some reps in towards the end of the season?? If he doesn't do anything till next spring then yup he's done. Maybe coaching or analyst on Fox
