Hey Florida peeps...need some advice/suggestions please
The hubby and I are currently looking at possibly attending this:
Daytona Beach, FL | International Motorcycle Shows
and if we do, we would like to also hit Disneyworld. I've only been there once, as a young child, and the hubby has never been there. So, we're thinking about staying someplace in between those two places.
Has anyone ever attended that show?
And where would be a nice, decent, reasonably priced area to look for hotels that would be between those two events/places?Would like somewhere fairly close to the beach or on the beach.
Also which airport would be the best to fly in to?
Thanks guys!!!

My son works at Disney, it's in Kissimmee which if you are coming from Daytona on I-4 it is just past Orlando. About 45 minutes give or take from Daytona. If it was my wife and I we would stay at probably Howard Johnson's on A1A in Daytona Beach and drive to Disney . Flying in you will more then likely rout to Orlando International which is spitting distance to Disney-MGM & Sea World. Enjoy

Flying in and out of different airports can cost you more.
If you're going to do Disney after the bike fest, fly in and out of Orlando.
If you're going to the bike show after Disney, fly in and out of Daytona or Jacksonville.
Do NOT stay inside Disney. The only good thing about being on Disney properly is, "no one dies at Disney." (really - if you have an MI on their property, you will not be pronounced until they have your carcass off their property)
Also, you are coming to FL "in-season" - get ready to take it in the wallet. So, just stay at a Holiday Inn Express or something unless you're really looking for the cat's meow in luxury lodging.

Ah crap! If it's spring break, we'll probably bag it. I really don't want to be standing in line all freekin day at Disneyworld.
Maybe I'll look into some cruises instead.
Thanks guys!! I do appreciate it.

When I go I always stay in Kissimmee and ride to Daytona for a day and come back.
We stay here Kissimmee Hotel: Seralago Hotel & Suites, an Affordable Family Hotel near Disney reasonable prices and plenty to do close by.
