Default 2" L&M Fork Extensions

Has anyone fitted the 2" L&M fork extensions.Do you need to extend the brake line? And also L&M say that you will notice where the extension meets the OEM fork tube but can't that be covered up with the stock indicator mount? Any advice from anyone whose done this mod or has anyone done the 1" extension mod and any comments on either would be a help?

Cheers
John

John, if I remember correctly it's only the 3" extentsions that has a problem with the brake line not being long enough. Might be better with the longer line but with the two inch line you should be able to re route the line with no problem and make it work. Yes you can cover the seem with your stock directionals where the extensions meet the forks and never see it. Good luck.

Thanks for the advice. I might take the safe option and fit the 1" extensions, instead of playing with brakes lines.
Cheers

Have the 2in. extensions and did not have to reroute anything. The original turn signals hide the joint perfectly. very happy with them.

The 3" extensions were part of the Group Buy for the 8*Triple Trees.

Plus... an inch is an inch.
