It's all about what you want and what your willing to spend for what you want, I already pulled the trigger on the sumo kit, went all custom wheels, chrome on most all of it, and yes I have put over half again in this bike that I originally gave for it. You only live once and if I like the level I choose to live at and in addition can afford this, wife is fine with it, and all is good, call it stupid if you will, but I enjoy it and each person has to choose his or her own route. Sorry I can no longer help on group buy, and I will post pics as soon as I get it finished, taking my time and doing it right.

There have been several cases here with past members who have dumped a butt load of money into their rides and have been forced to sell at a loss. I dont mind spending money on my things to make them nice, but im not stupid either.

Now before i get flamed for calling past or present members/owners stupid understand this ... that comment is my opinion. The act itself is stupid to spend so much money on a bike that didnt cost that much to begin with.
Most people are not as rational as YOU or I for that matter...
Its still a honda, If I want to drop more money I get what I want from the Factory like a Ducatti I wanted the Monster but felt it was to expensive..
Time is a cost that no one ever really gets because you only have so much money and so much time they are in direct comp with each other...

I have a Escalade
NOT a DENAILI OR SUBURBAN

My caddy has features they cant hit LIke a 404hp motor stock LED lights ect... Not to mention better resale ect..

Spend all your money for all I care

BUt its still a Fury and the SUMO DOES MAKE IT LOOK COOLER! But not 4k worth IMO

And I love my stock Fury I think its still ONE of the BEST looking OFF THE FLOOR OEM Thats ever been made IMO
thats why I got the MAtte its a limited number of bikes IT LOOKED AWESOME OFF THE FLOOR THATS WHAT I LIKE, SE limited SO WERE TOLD

Thats why theres Ferrari and Mazda and BMW and Bugatti and Hyundia, VW, Porche, Chevy, Ford on and on
So many takes PRICE points from start on the same concept wheels that move move fast!

I love my Sumo X 250 Kit! I wanted more of the chopper look and I got it for a little over $5,000.00. Would'nt change it back to stock. It gets lots of looks and is that a Harley? Love it......Went with the polished to save some money also. Well worth the $ if your willing to let it go.

On FuryChopper’s bike, the turn signals also act as brake lights. I have the same setup except that my license plate bracket also has a break light in it.

So if I understand correctly close to but COULD go over 5k for a 250 kit. I thought I read a thread from RAW Design stating his 300 (+) kit was 6k? Is that total drive out price? Has anyone on this board purchased their kit?

I don’t know of anyone that has purchased the RAW 300. What you have to keep in mind is that the Sumo kit is roughly 3k. The price starts to rise when you add front wheel to match, painted fender, license plate bracket, matching front turn signals and so on. If you did the same with the RAW the price would start jumping also.

The FrankeFury is $6000 to purchase to do it yourself. That is A LOT of tire. Would be awesome.

I've looked through their web site and didn't find any information as to what 6k buys. It would be interesting to know.

I've always thought of our bikes as kind of a pear shape, front to back. Having said that some people like the bottoms larger than others.
