Turns out it was the suspension settings more than the seat for me.
Installed the factory seat back on turned the height adjustment to the minumum and set the rebound at 50 percent. Its much more comfortable and it seems like 5 inches lower and 1 or 2 inches backwards than the Mustang saddle. You can lean back easier on the factory seat. The lumbar support on the Mustang seat sort of prevents you from really leaning back on the bike which I like to do.
I don't regret buying the Mustang seat, Ill put it on for super long rides only. Otherwise I like the low profile factory seat with the handlebars up higher.
