Cool Different Ride in Rain

Only put 600 miles on so far and got my first taste of Fury handling in the rain.So far the rear tire seems to lose traction a bit more then the VTX did but have more weather to experiment in.Is there a traction issue with the stock tire?

I recently road 120 highway miles through rain at an average speed of 70-75 mph with zero problems. Just went with the flow of traffic and didn't feel any difference in handling.

Tire pressure has everything to do with traction. You may want to play with it a pound or two up or down.

I ride in the rain often and I don't have a problem with traction. Check the tyre pressures F & R are set to factroy spec 33 F & 41 R and set the preload to stock. See how you go, from there you can adjust the pressure up or down, my guess is you may want to drop the pressure 3 or 4 PSI although I run my tyres at factory spec.

Def check your tyre pressure. The other thing I forgot to mention is that new tyres have a wax like coating on them and it takes a about 160 - 200 Kilometres for it to wear off. You should have worn it off well and truly by now after 600 Miles (1000 KLM) but it's worth mentioning just in case it helps some one else out.

Mods, LOL you'll always find something that needs to be done

Not to sound like a dick, but you should ALWAYS check your tire pressure before you head out. It takes a few seconds but is well worth it as far as safety and piece of mind!

Cool

Come to think about it was in the 1st 200 miles or so I noticed the slipping off the line but not lately so maybe it was the factory coating!
