Default Pair valves + autotune.. need a explanation...

Hi guys,
I had install my pcv and autotune.
Powercommander recommand to block pair valve for correct values.

So, I have read all threads about pair valves here...

Juste a question :
Can't we just disconnect the electric wire on the valve ?
can't we just put a plug in the air filter hole to stop the air in this circuit ?

Sure you could. But that would lead to other problems such as condensation collecting in the hoses. Installing the block off plates took 20 min. for me. Then its over and done with.

if you just block them off do as close to the pair valve assembly as possible, I took a bolt and cut the lines close to the pair valve then used some sealer on the bolt and put it into the tube I cut off. I thing I used a 7/16 thread and threaded it into the tube a 1/2 inch away from the pair valve assembly.
Regards,
Dewking
