Think ill break down and get this. I like the modified stock one. I just think its bulky and the plastic doesn't blend.

How you run the wiring, and stick the controller is up to you. I extended the taillight assembly wires all the way back to under the seat area. Placed the controller there with 3M tape and plenty of electrical.

Others have kept the module underneath the tail light assembly and used the existing wire plugs.
Hi Kiwi, I'm following your mod of relocating control unit up under the seat area, I am curious did u run all 3 negative wires to the taillight ?
I have a 4 wire cable I was thinking of using !
Your thought's would be appreciated.

Does anyone see an issue with this?

Yes I did.

So basically, I had six wires from my RAW tail light. 2 for the left side, 2 for the right side, and 2 out the right side of the LED plate lights.

The wires on the right side were long enough to run down the right side of the subframe to under the seat area. (Or on the inside of the subframe just before the seat if you like, in the RAW video.)

The wires on the left side I extended with about 6" or more of automotive wire to reach down the left side of the subframe and over to the right where the controller was placed.

Plenty of grounding points around the seat area for the controllers ground wire.

The stock wiring was cut back to under the seat with plenty of slack left for any future stripping and splicing required.

Strip, splice, solder, heat shrink, then plenty of electrical tape.
