ok, that's just slacker-dom at it's highest level. well, not really it's highest.
on my 4000 mile $$ donor visit the knuckle-heads only re-attached 3 out of the 4 spark plug boots.
Chris Cannella discovered it. he suggested i do the maintenance after that...I do.

So you rode off like that, and someone else had to tell you your bike wasn't running right ?
Is that slacker thing directed at me ?

Thanks... Shop Manuals Are Enroute To My Location As I Type This... I Think I Will Do A Search And Find The Number/E-Mail For Honda North America And Make A Formal Complaint About This Stealership... Nothing But Negativity...

A> yes, rode off with it. the bike wasn't sputtering. no, i do not check for my spark plug boots to be sticking out from under the plastichrome cylinder covers.
B> no, you're not the slacker--the mechanic who got distracted is the slacker. poor sentence structure on my part.

I have found them off before on VTXs, sometimes (usually ) you can't tell they are off.

funny, but, we're so slammed at work i kind of get why someone might have missed the stupid spark plug boot.
i need to be more understanding.
my staff is at less than half of what we were 3 yrs. ago. stuff falls through the cracks. no reason it should be different for other guys in their jobs.

I ordered the manual two weeks ago. when it finally arrives I intend to become a smarter owner.
