Road burner street pros and FI2000R
I purchased the road burner street pros and been told no fuel management system needed with stock air. I am looking to buy the FI2000R sorry can't swing with power commander now after purchasing the bike and pipes. Some one chime in on a setting for FI? Second thoughts on adding a K&N filter to stock air intake and any power gains and lastly settings for that set up? Thanks everyone

For an exhaust change you don't need a fuel controller, when you change to an aftermarket air intake is when you'll need one. Settings for a Fi2000 should be 1-2-2, many threads discuss this already.

Though fuel controller not necessary when installing pipes only, when I installed my Samson Warlord Slasher pipes and the Fi2000 and at the time had the factory air cleaner. ( I pulled the baffles out) called Cobra Tech to ask opinion of setting and he said leave at factory setting 120. so when and if you change the air cleaner, the fuel controller would be necessary and factory setting needs to be changed.... 2 cents for future thinking!

I modified my air box to let more air in by drilling a 1" hole near the bottom on the front. I can definitely feel it drawing in air even at idle. After some more test rides with no whistling etc, I'll add another hole, and again a 3rd one. I am using a K&N filter and also plan on closing the hole with a screen. Running with Freedom Performance Curve & Cobra Fi2000r auto tune.
