Cobra Powerflo Intake/L&M Chrome Adapter
Does anybody know if the Cobra Powerflo Intake and the L&M Chrome Adapter are compatible? Has anybody installed the two together? Was it a hassle? I really like the look of the Cobra Powerflo Intake, but I already have the L&M Chrome Adapter mounted and am happy with it; don't want to replace it.
Cheers

I don't think it would work. As NMUCat said, the Cobra PowerFlo comes complete with everything you need. You just remove the stock breather and put this together and install it.

I'm running the V-Charger with the chrome L&M Adapter, which I'm happy with; just kinda like the looks of the PowerFlo. You know, just something different.....

I keep going back and forth between the powerflo and a spike. I like the spike better, but the powerflo is less expensive and would do better in the unpredictable thunder showers here in central florida

Showers and thunderstorms are really not an issue, and the PowerFlo is far more efficient, if that matters to you. FWIW.
Cheers

I love my black Powerflo. Held up fine in a heavy down pour riding for over a hour in it. Cost effective and looks great.

I dont know how the L&M bolts on, but by using the Cobra you utilize the 3 mounting scews by bolting the new filter together. You also re-use the OEM screw clamp to help hold the assembly to the throttle body; you actually have to flip the clamp so you can get to it. That being said, i would say no you can not use both.
